While we’re all waiting for the cooking to happen, allow me to introduce my sous chef, Kome~chan.
While she’s not technically allowed on the counter—and I do wipe my prep space down with alcohol before starting—she is still an indoor cat with limited space and she doesn’t listen worth a damn.
And and, seeing as I usually only cook for myself & my Mr. Scout, I’m probably not as good at remembering that she has been standing in the wet sink like a calico meerkat or batting at the paper towels that hang from the bottom of the cupboard as I would like to be.
On the off chance you ever eat at my place (or I make you one of my famous birthday cakes!), consider yourself warned: the food may or may not be safe for those with cat allergies. Sorry.
